LeBron James’ suspected stalker makes wild ‘I’m his son’ claim to police while lurking outside LA home

The stalker of LeBron James allegedly told law enforcement that he was the NBA star’s son, after being found lurking outside of the 41-year-old’s LA residence.

The man was later arrested for stalking after allegedly being witnessed outside of the Philadelphia 76er’s LA-based residence, in which he lived during his Lakers stint.

According to reports, security at the 41-year-old's home called the cops at approximately 9pm on Friday evening; when law enforcement arrived, the suspect allegedly claimed he was James’ son.

According to TMZ, the suspect was caught on security camera outside of James’ LA residence, prompting the LAPD to show up.

Per the publication’s report, the male suspect was allegedly arrested for stalking. However, TMZ then revealed that the LAPD heard an outlandish claim upon arrest of the 76er’s suspected stalker.

According to TMZ’s report, the alleged perpetrator claimed to be James’ son, and ‘believed’ he was related to the NBA icon.

At the time of the incident, the 41-year-old was not home, and the unnamed suspect did not gain entry to the LA residence in his lurking.

However, it remains unclear whether James’ wife, Savannah James, or any further family members were present at the time of LAPD’s call-out.

Instead, the former Cavaliers man was back in Cleveland, this time wearing Philadelphia 76ers colours, to endure a second loss of the NBA season.

James was limited to just eight points in a 119-95 blowout defeat. Cavs star man Donovan Mitchell racked up a 23-7-8 stat-sheet, tying the Cleveland franchise’s season W-L record at 4-4.

The 76ers are currently positioned first in the Eastern Conference, with an 8-2 record. Behind are the Boston Celtics and Detroit Pistons, with 7-2 and 6-2 records, respectively.

James is leading his Philadelphia franchise in assists per game, averaging 6.9 in each NBA outing, and is second to former MVP Joel Embiid for rebounds, sweeping up 7.4 per ball game.
