It is a reward for the former AFC Bournemouth forward's form since his move overseas.
The 21-year-old is part of a 23-man Black Meteors squad for the tie, which sees a first leg game in Benghazi next Wednesday.
Adu-Adjei has been with Rijeka for the last year after leaving Bournemouth permanently.
He has been a regular for the Croatian side in league and the UEFA Conference League.
The striker was on loan at Carlisle in the 2024/25 League Two season, scoring two goals in 17 appearances under respective managers Paul Simpson and Mike Williamson.
