In the men’s discus throw F43/F44/F62/F64 event at the Asian Para Games 2026, India completed a clean sweep, as Devender Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, and Pradeep Kumar managed podium finishes.
Apart from three Indians, Reza Angin from Indonesia was the only other athlete to participate in that final event, while Pradeep was the only non-F44 athlete, as his classification is under F64. Due to multiple classifications in the same contest, RAZA points determine the winner.
Devendra Kumar had the second throw of 49.71m, which secured his gold medal with 781 RAZA points. While Rakesh fought closely to claim silver with 771 RAZA points after a 49.35m throw, Pradeep had all successful throws, and his personal best 51.15m distance brought the bronze medal with 669 RAZA points. Reza also had a personal best performance with 40.40 meters to earn 484 RAZA points.
