Harrowby recorded their biggest win of the United Counties League campaign after a superb 5-1 away success at in-form Clifton All Whites on Saturday.

Recent recruit Lewis Weaver bagged a brace with Jacob Boyes, Luke Cullen and Harry Johnson also on target in the Division One match.

The Arrows had made the trip to Nottingham still smarting from their defeat at Sandiacre Town on Saturday.

Manager Nick Andersen made a couple of changes from the weekend defeat as Cole Maule came into midfield with Harrison Ainslie dropping into the back.

Weaver and Johnson came into the attacking areas with also a strong looking bench.

On a good playing surface, Clifton started on the front foot with the Arrows struggling to get a foothold in the game.

Just as Harrowby had started to come into the game, they were hit with a sucker punch as a shot from Conner Randall was deflected off Harrison Stuart and into Ben Martin's net.

Harrowby responded well with Kieran Stanley and Boyes finding more space as the game went on.

The Arrows equalised with a great move involving Josh Doran, Stanley and Boyes with the latter finishing off to make it 1-1.

Clifton then had a great chance to retake the lead from a free header but Martin was pleased to see it go straight into his arms.

Harrowby finished the first half strongly and picked up where they left off after the break with probably their best 45 minutes of the season as the home side had no answer to their pace going forward.

They took the lead through Weaver with a great finish which he repeated soon after to put Harrowby 3-1 up from a Corey Evans through ball.

The Arrows were now in full control and they made it four when Johnson put one in the top right hand corner.

Eathan Milne, Jack Robb, Cullen and Joe Wilkinson all entered the game to freshen it up, and after another great move, Cullen finished off the scoring by rounding the home goalkeeper to score.

It capped an excellent night for the Arrows where all the squad put in a great performance with Lewis Daff their man of the match.
