Tennessee running back commit David Gabriel Georges put on a show in front of Vol Nation on Friday night. DGG erupted for 247 rushing yards and three touchdowns on just 12 carries in Baylor School’s 21-7 win over Knox Catholic at Covenant Health Park. The five-star running back averaged 20.6 yards per carry.
“This was special, and I think that David felt that there were a lot of Vols fans pulling for him,” head coach Erik Kimrey said after the game, via Baylor Athletics. “I think it meant something to him, and he wanted to give them a little taste of what’s to come.”
Gabriel Georges, the top-ranked 2027 prospect from the Volunteer State, committed to Tennessee over Ohio State and Ole Miss over the summer. He’s been phenomenal for the Red Raiders this season and continues to show why he’s got the juice to carry that forward at the next level.
