Ronald Araujo's agent has stated "it is still too early" to discuss the Liverpool defender's future amid the possibility of a permanent move to Anfield.
Joining on loan from Barcelona in August, the Reds do have the option to make his deal permanent for the sum of £47million.
Many Liverpool fans have already called for the club to stump up the money for Araujo after an impressive start to life on Merseyside.
Operating at right-back and centre-back for Andoni Iraola's team, the Uruguayan has featured in all 13 Liverpool games this season, starting 11 of them.
The 27-year-old has also chipped in with a couple of goals after netting in their Champions League victories over LASK and Villarreal.
Given his start to life on Merseyside for Iraola's side, it comes as no surprise that the calls for his loan move to be made permanent are becoming louder and louder.
So will that actually be the case come the end of the season?
Speaking to winwin, Eduardo Crangar, the player's agent, said: “Ronald is performing well, we are very happy with what he is offering. But it is still too early to talk about his future at the moment.
“He feels very good, he is happy to be playing for Liverpool and happy to be helping the club and his teammates, just as he has already said.”

"Ronald is performing well, we are very happy with what he is offering. But it is still too early to talk about his future at the moment." - Eduardo Crangar on Ronald Araujo's future
Araujo is certainly loving life at Liverpool since swapping the Camp Nou for Anfield back in August.
Speaking ahead of the recent 4-3 Champions League win over Villarreal, he said: "I came from a big side, as is Liverpool. I think people here, it's almost like they are more intense when you go down the street, when you go out to the centre of Liverpool, or when you go out to eat something. But that's lovely. You see how they experience football themselves.
"I am really happy here. My family is very happy and that's also very important. I'm just really hungry to go on this season and give the best I can of myself and continue to learn and grow as a player. I'm having that game time and that's what I want and then we'll see what happens and what I want for the future."
On the possibility of a permanent transfer, he said: "It's very early to talk about these things. I'm just trying to enjoy every day and continue to develop and to play and to give what's required of me to have that confidence. I'm really happy to be here."
