According to the experts at ESPN, Kansas City Chiefs star Kenneth Walker III is the second-best fantasy football running back going into Week 8 of the 2026 NFL regular season.
Walker, much like the rest of the Chiefs' offense, struggled to find success in Week 7. The superstar running back will carry a chip on his shoulder this week after being bested by his former team.
For those with Walker on their fantasy team, here is a stat prediction ahead of Kansas City's rivalry matchup against the Denver Broncos on Sunday:
Walker didn't have the dominant homecoming he was likely hoping for, as the Seahawks' front seven held him to just 36 rushing yards. Luckily for the reigning Super Bowl MVP, his status as the Chiefs' top offensive weapon was cemented in last week's loss.
The Broncos rank 24th in the league in rushing yards allowed, which bodes well for Walker. Admittedly, I was a bit ambitious when I predicted 150 yards for Walker last week, but I feel much more confident about his chances of performing well this week.
Expect 130-150 yards and a touchdown from the former Michigan State Spartan.
