But the Pars boss also believes that, if the forward starts hitting the net regularly, then he "wouldn't be here long".
Adams, who arrived in August after a spell with Czech side, SK Dynamo České Budějovice, has yet to score in 10 appearances for the club.
However, the former Nigeria under-20 cap's overall play has pleased his manager, particularly during Tuesday's match with Partick Thistle.
It was good play from Adams, who turned 22 earlier this month, to set up Andrew Tod to curl home a magnificent equaliser in the 1-1 draw.

"The only thing missing from Ola's game is a goal," Lennon said.
"But, if he was scoring goals on a regular basis, and playing the way he is, he wouldn't be here long.
"He's a work in progress, but I'm so pleased with him. He's added a different dimension to the way we play.
"I think his link-up play is outstanding, and he does things a little bit Maverick-y as well, you know, off the cuff, which we like as well.
"He’s just a little bit untidy with his finishing at the minute, but that'll come. Well, you hope it'll come.
"We’re really pleased with him. I think he's been terrific."
In addition to hailing his work for Tod's sixth goal of the campaign against the Jags, Lennon also had words of praise for the goalscorer.
"He (Adams) held it up, which is a hard thing to do when you've got big bears coming in behind you," he noted.
"And then he skips away from another player in front of him, a midfield player, and then he's able to switch the play brilliantly.

"And then the goal was just individual brilliance from Andy, which he's capable of.
"Obviously, he missed a really good chance in the second half, but I thought there was a big improvement in Andy’s game as well, overall."
