An influencer-organised boxing event was brought to an abrupt halt after a brawl erupted and a man was stabbed on Saturday evening.

The shocking incident took place at Unhinged 3, staged at the Hub in Kilkenny.

The event was organised by social media personality Hstikkytokky, who featured prominently in Louis Theroux's documentary about toxic masculinity, called Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere.

The disorder began after fighter Mo Deen leapt out of the ring and lunged towards far-right thug Tommy Robinson, who had been watching the bout from ringside.

Following a brief altercation, Hstikkytokky, whose real name is Harrison Sullivan, invited the pair into the ring for a "face-off", reports the Irish Mirror.

Tensions rapidly escalated when Robinson, who faces up to 10 years in prison after he was found guilty of harassing two journalists last month, hurled a book at Deen. The violence swiftly spread, with audience members, predominantly young men, turning on one another.

As a result, one man in his 30s suffered stab wounds and was rushed to St Luke's Hospital for treatment.

Gardaí subsequently arrested a man in his 20s, who is currently being questioned under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at a Garda station in the South East.

Gardaí also confirmed that a teenager was arrested and charged with violent disorder, and is due to appear before a special court sitting on Sunday. Venue personnel also intervened, declaring the event could not proceed and that the final three bouts on the card would be cancelled.

Mo Deen subsequently shared a video on social media from a locked room within the venue, stating he was following "the script" and hadn't anticipated matters would become so "serious".

Ahead of the event, organisers had announced: "UNHINGED is bringing a huge night of influencer boxing and live entertainment to The Hub, Kilkenny, featuring big personalities, exciting fights and an electric atmosphere.

"With a night full of action, entertainment and unforgettable moments, this is an event you won't want to miss!".
