For over two months now, The Bloodline and The 946 have gone toe-to-toe with each other on WWE Raw, with a battle inside WarGames expected to take place at Survivor Series on November 28.
Working with WWE’s top star in Roman Reigns has elevated Royce Keys, Lucien Price, Bronco Nima, Jaida Parker, Carmelo Hayes and now Cruz Montana into the main event picture, but many fans have questions regarding how WWE will use the group once their battles with The Bloodline eventually do come to an end.
While we still have a ways to go until the issue between them and The Bloodline is completely ironed out, it’s time to look at what future options may be on the table for 946 in WWE.
Here are three potential creative directions the group could go in next:
Before 946 and The Bloodline dominated WWE Raw, the position of the red brand’s top faction belonged to The Vision.
Under the leadership of Seth Rollins, The Vision were WWE’s most pushed group in 2025 and that appeared set to continue in 2026 when Bron Breakker took charge towards the end of last year.
Instead, The Vision are now closing 2026 as a firm number three on WWE Raw’s faction power rankings, narrowly above The Judgment Day.
It may be considered somewhat lazy to just pivot 946 from one faction on faction feud to another, but at least it keeps both groups busy and in a fairly high profile spot. It would however, probably require 946 to turn babyface, as The Vision won’t be getting cheered whilst Logan Paul is in their group.
While WWE Raw has four notable factions, SmackDown has just one: Fatal Influence, unless you want to count Sami Zayn’s “Ride or Dies” as an official group.
WWE shouldn’t just create a new faction for the sake of having one on SmackDown, but it wouldn’t be a bad idea to move one of Raw’s aforementioned groups along to the blue brand in order to better balance the two rosters.
Moving 946 to SmackDown would also give them distance from The Bloodline, which will most likely be needed by the time WWE does cap off their feud.
The 946 are very much a united front right now, and so they should be given how new their group is.
As with most groups however, tensions will most likely rise within The 946 camp eventually and we could see a power struggle between its members.
Cruz Montana is very much a potential future leader of the group, but he’s also proven to be a great babyface in his time in TNA and briefly on WWE NXT.
This is also true for Carmelo Hayes, who was one of SmackDown’s most popular stars at the beginning of 2026 during his run as United States Champion.
While it shouldn’t happen anytime soon, we could see either man get kicked out of the group and emerge a big singles babyface star on the other end.
