The draw of the Rolex Paris Masters is now complete. The seven players who came through qualifying on Sunday know their opponents, and six of them play on Monday, the first day of the main draw.
The most eye-catching path belongs to Tomas Machac, who knocked out top qualifying seed Sebastian Baez on Sunday. He faces French wildcard Kyrian Jacquet on Court 1 on Monday, not before 3:30 p.m. The winner meets sixth seed Arthur Fils in the second round, the Frenchman having confirmed on Sunday that he will play. A place in the last 16 would then be at stake against a section that includes another qualifier, Alex Molcan, as well as Titouan Droguet, Benjamin Bonzi and 11th seed Taylor Fritz.
Two qualifiers meet in an all-Italian first round: Mattia Bellucci and Lorenzo Sonego close Monday’s programme on Court 2. The winner faces Arthur Rinderknech or 16th seed Francisco Cerundolo in the second round, then possibly third seed Ben Shelton in the last 16. Shelton, who has a first-round bye, opens against Cameron Norrie or Matteo Arnaldi.
Benjamin Bonzi, the only Frenchman to come through qualifying, has the toughest opener on paper: 11th seed Taylor Fritz, on Tuesday. On Monday, he plays doubles alongside Arthur Rinderknech on Court 3.
Rinky Hijikata opens the main draw on Court 1 at 11 a.m. against Luciano Darderi. The winner meets 10th seed Novak Djokovic or Valentin Vacherot in the second round, with eighth seed Alex de Minaur possibly waiting in the last 16.
Juan Manuel Cerundolo faces Casper Ruud on Court Central, in the third match of Monday’s day session. The winner plays Alejandro Tabilo or ninth seed Rafael Jodar, who are on court just before them, with fifth seed Flavio Cobolli in the same section.
Alex Molcan follows Machac on Court 1 against French wildcard Titouan Droguet. The winner would face Bonzi or Fritz in the second round, with Fils’ section next.
