David Beckham net worth: How much is the Man Utd icon worth?

David Beckham is one of the most recognisable names in football, having enjoyed a successful playing career before becoming a major figure in the business world. His wealth has continued to grow since retiring in 2013, thanks to commercial partnerships, investments and his involvement in football ownership.

His football club, Inter Miami, has grown in popularity on betting sites with fast withdrawal as well with punters hoping to cash in on their rise to the top of the MLS.

What is David Beckham’s net worth?

David Beckham’s net worth is estimated at $1 billion (£760 million) by Forbes, which lists him among the world’s billionaires. The figure reflects his earnings and business interests beyond his football career.

The 2026 Sunday Times Rich List places David and Victoria Beckham’s combined wealth at £1.185 billion. This is a joint estimate rather than a valuation of David’s personal fortune alone.

The couple’s wealth has been built through several business interests, including David’s commercial partnerships, Victoria’s fashion and beauty businesses, and their investments in sport and property.

How did David Beckham make his money?

Beckham earned significant sums during his 20-year football career, playing for Manchester United, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.

His move from Real Madrid to LA Galaxy in 2007 was particularly important financially. The deal included commercial and revenue-sharing arrangements, as well as an option to purchase an MLS expansion team. That option eventually helped him establish Inter Miami CF.

Beckham retired from professional football in 2013, having won league titles in four countries. His honours included six Premier League titles and the Champions League with Manchester United in 1999.

David Beckham’s business interests and endorsements

Since retiring, Beckham has continued to earn money through partnerships with international brands. His commercial portfolio has included Adidas, Hugo Boss, Tudor and Stella Artois.

He also retains a significant interest in his brand business following a partnership with Authentic Brands Group, which acquired a majority stake in 2019.

One of his biggest investments is Inter Miami CF, the Major League Soccer club he co-founded in 2018. Forbes estimates Beckham holds a 26% stake in the club, which was valued at approximately $1.35 billion in 2026.

Beckham has also expanded into media production through Studio 99, the company he founded in 2019. Its projects include the Netflix documentary series Beckham and the documentary 99, covering Manchester United’s 1998-99 Treble-winning season.

His business interests, football investments and commercial partnerships have helped make Beckham one of the wealthiest former footballers in the world.
