Max Verstappen is once again among the 500 richest people in the Netherlands in 2026. According to the latest edition of the Quote 500, the Red Bull Racing driver has seen his fortune grow considerably. With an estimated net worth of €310 million, Verstappen remains the youngest Dutch person on the prestigious list.
The new Quote 500 was published on Tuesday, October 27, with Verstappen ranking 224th. According to the business magazine, the four-time world champion's fortune has grown by €50 million in a year. In 2025, his net worth was estimated at €260 million, putting him in 264th place. Moreover, he is the highest-ranked Dutch athlete on the list.
Verstappen has been among the highest-paid drivers in Formula 1 for years. The Dutchman also earns money through commercial partnerships and activities outside Formula 1.
Despite his relatively young age, Verstappen has already built up considerable wealth. The Dutchman has featured on the Quote 500 for several years and has climbed the rankings once again.
To make the list this year, an estimated fortune of at least €140 million was required. According to the Quote 500, the combined wealth of the 500 richest people in the Netherlands has risen by more than 10% to a record total of over €300 billion.
Verstappen still has a long way to go to reach the top three in these rankings. This year, a notable change has also taken place at the top of the Quote 500. Crypto billionaire Jean-Louis van der Velde is the new richest person in the country, with an estimated fortune of €26 billion. He displaces Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken, who had held the top spot since 2012.
The Heineken heiress is now in second place, with an estimated fortune of €13 billion. Ralph Sonnenberg completes the top three with €6.9 billion.
