After a loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves in their last contest, the Houston Rockets head to Phoenix Saturday for a matchup against the Suns. Houston enters the matchup 7-2 on the season with notable victories against the Celtics, Thunder and Spurs. As for the Suns, they enter the contest at 2-5, having snapped a four-game losing streak in their last contest with a victory over the Orlando Magic.
Although Alperen Sengun and Marcus Smart dealt with minor ailments, the Rockets have been pretty healthy for the most part to begin the 2026-27 campaign, especially compared to a season ago. Ahead of Saturday's matchup, only two Rockets are on the injury report, veteran centers Steven Adams and Clint Capela. The Suns will also be without one of their centers, as Mark Williams has yet to make his season debut after undergoing shoulder surgery. Rasheer Fleming is listed as questionable with an ankle injury, while Jordan Goodwin has been listed as doubtful.
