The Los Angeles Rams are gearing up for Sunday's showdown with the Los Angeles Chargers, and once again, they're dealing with injuries. Puka Nacua continues to improve after tweaking his calf last week, and Nate Landman is on track to return from his one-game absence due to a concussion, but other players are still banged up heading into Sunday's game.
Coleman Shelton, Colby Parkinson and Joe Cardona have been the players to monitor all week after they missed the first two days of practice. Shelton and Parkinson are questionable to play against the Chargers, as is Trent McDuffie. Jordan Whittington’s back tightened up o before practice on Friday, so he’s also questionable.
Cardona doesn’t look like he will play on Sunday, being listed as doubtful for Week 8. That means Jake McQuaide is likely to be the Rams’ long snapper this week.
For the Chargers, cornerback Donte Jackson is questionable, as is cornerback Rodney Shelley. Derwin James has already been ruled out, along with wide receiver Brenen Thompson, guard Kayode Awosika and defensive back Deane Leonard.
Wide receivers Tre Harris and Ladd McConkey are both good to go after being full participants in practice. They have no injury designations.
