Do the Minnesota Vikings play today? What to know about their schedule

Minnesota Vikings fans will have to wait an extra day to see if their team can bounce back from its first loss of the season.

The Vikings aren't playing Sunday, Nov. 8. Instead, they're hosting Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football in a matchup between two of the NFL's top teams.

Minnesota (6-1) won its first six games before losing 19-15 to the Detroit Lions last Sunday.

The loss ended the Vikings' unbeaten start, but Minnesota remains one of only three NFL teams with one loss. The others are the Bills and San Francisco 49ers.

Buffalo (6-1) is coming off a 36-10 victory over the Baltimore Ravens, its third consecutive win since losing to the New England Patriots.

The Vikings and Bills meet at 8:15 p.m. ET Monday, Nov. 9, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
