Nikki Bella has been garnering major attention during her second run in WWE as a veteran. Ever since she returned to the Stamford-based promotion, The Fearless One has squared off against major stars from the current crop like Stephanie Vaquer, Roxanne Perez, Chelsea Green, and has more names she wants to work with before retirement.

However, when it comes down to a potential showdown with her sister, Brie Bella, she doesn’t see that happening again. In a recent interview with Justin Dorazio, Bella was asked about a potential singles match with Brie during their latest WWE tenure. The longest-reigning WWE Divas Champion of all time said that while she wanted to have that match, citing the injuries both stars have sustained, she doesn’t see it happening.

“After our injuries, I don’t think that’s going to happen,” Bella said. “We’re nearing the end of our careers and I feel like, now, we need to be together. I’d have loved to have had one more match against Brie, our chemistry is perfect, but, unfortunately, I don’t think it’s going to happen.”

Nikki and Brie Bella reunited upon Brie’s return as a surprise entrant in the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble match. The duo were aligned as a tag team and were set to be a part of a multi-team match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 42. However, a few weeks before on SmackDown, Nikki injured her ankle and had to be replaced by Paige.

A few months later at SummerSlam, Nikki, Brie and Paige squared off against Fatal Influence in a six-woman tag team match. Brie sustained a shoulder injury during the match and is currently out of action.

While Nikki ruled out a singles match between the Bella Twins, it will be interesting to see them reunite as a team upon Brie’s return from injury.
