- Arsenal are keeping tabs on Atlético Madrid winger Álex Baena, TEAMtalk reports. An offer worth €80 million is expected to be required to secure the 25-year-old's transfer, as the Gunners explore the market for a top option to play on the left flank. The Premier League side could face competition from Bayern Munich for Baena, who has scored five goals and provided three assists in 11 LaLiga matches this season. Arsenal could raise funds for this with the exit of midfielder Martín Zubimendi, amid interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona, according to TEAMtalk. The 27-year-old has struggled to start regularly since the arrival of Bruno Guimarães and the Gunners would want a fee around the €60 million that they parted with to land him from Real Sociedad in July 2025.
- Juventus are weighing up approaches for Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko and AS Monaco forward Folarin Balogun, with plans to land a striker in January, Calciomercato reports. The Serie A club are keen to acquire a physical front man in the next transfer window, when they are expected to have around €100 million available to reinforce their squad. Šeško, 23, hasn't featured for United since Sept. 16 in the EFL Cup against Brighton due to injury, while a move for 25-year-old Balogun could be possible after Monaco accepted an initial €40 million offer from Everton in the summer before the deal fell through.
- Manchester United are considering a move for Al Ahli striker Ivan Toney as they prioritize adding depth at the No. 9 position, according to Football Insider. The Red Devils are monitoring the 30-year-old, who has scored 12 goals in nine Saudi Pro League matches this season, with several other options also on their shortlist. Toney has been in Saudi Arabia since joining Al Ahli from Brentford in the summer of 2024.
- Barcelona are interested in Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lucas Bergvall, according to Football Insider. Bergvall, 20, chose Spurs over Barcelona in 2024, but the Blaugrana are still monitoring him, though Spurs are in control of his future as his contract is not set to expire until the summer of 2031. The Sweden international has made four Premier League appearances this season and has also emerged on the radar of Napoli.
- Al-Hilal have ended their pursuit of Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes, TalkSPORT reports. The Saudi Pro League club were strongly linked with a move for the 32-year-old over the summer, but they aren't expected to make a new approach for him in January, with no plans to free up any of their overseas player slots. Fernandes, yet to reach an agreement over a new contract at Old Trafford, has eight months remaining on his deal.
