Grimsby Town returned to winning ways in style at Gillingham with an emphatic 4-1 victory. Harvey Rodgers netted a spectacular 25-yard strike in the seventh minute to put the Mariners ahead, before Ronan Hale levelled matters prior to half-time.
Town regained their advantage in the 54th minute from 12 yards after Armani Little brought down Kieran Green, with Iwan Morgan dispatching the penalty before Geza David Turi extended the lead with a close-range effort.
Substitute Sonny Finch sealed the victory with a composed finish after Turi's through pass. The win was Town's first away from home in the league this season and came after a disappointing run of four defeats and a draw.
It was positive from the start with David Artell's side taking the lead with their first attempt on target. Rodgers reacted quickest to a loose ball after a defensive header and unleashed a superb 25-yard strike into the top left corner.
The Gills equalised when Garath McCleary's penetrating pass found Hale perfectly positioned inside the area, with the forward delivering a clinical finish across Christy Pym and into the corner.

Nevertheless, Town responded after the break and doubled their tally from the penalty spot. Little fouled Green and Morgan placed his spot-kick straight down the middle.
A third arrived shortly afterwards when Green's deflected cross found Turi, who tapped home from close range. The result was confirmed in the 70th minute when Finch beat Ollie Wright after Turi's through pass.
