Junior center Matas Vokietaitis had 14 points and four rebounds. Junior forward David punch added 11 points and led the Longhorns with seven rebounds.
Miller has a brought in several big name transfers such as Punch, Johnson, Amari Evans, Elyjah Freeman, and Mikey Lewis. Texas also has one of the best freshman classes in the nation with Austin Goosby, Bo Ogden, and Marcus Spears Jr. That group is part of a recruiting class ranked the fourth-best in the nation.
