As with any Wednesday, it's a lighter supply of NHL action this evening, but there are some fun matchups.
That includes a Battle of California pairing two of the three teams from the Golden State renewing hostilities after needing overtime in their first battle.
Read on for a look at what you need to know for each game, including betting info and broadcast details.

Ottawa Senators at Buffalo Sabres
7:30 p.m. ET (ESPN+) | BUF -148, O/U: 6.5
Following playoff appearances by both of these Atlantic Division teams in 2026, the postseason seems a lot more likely for one than the other right now.
The Sens have started the season 9-6-1, and sit third in the division right now, though they have lost three of their last five. On the other side, the Sabres are 7-4-3, but bring a three-game winning streak into this contest.
This is the first game between the teams this season, and they'll play three additional games (Dec. 14, Feb. 26 and March 7). On the individual player front, keep an eye out for Ottawa's Tim Stutzle and Buffalo's Tage Thompson, who lead their respective clubs in scoring.
Chicago Blackhawks at Florida Panthers
7:30 p.m. ET (TNT) | FLA -250, O/U: 5.5
Given the relative positioning of these two teams in their competitive windows, it was a bit surprising to see the Panthers win by a narrow 3-2 margin on Oct. 25.
Wednesday's game will be the conclusion to the season series between the two teams; can the Blackhawks earn the upset?
Florida had the edge in the first matchup in shots (34-21), hits (33-18), faceoffs (53.6%) ... and penalty minutes (16-10). A better power play would serve the Blackhawks well in general -- they are currently 31st in the league, at 10.6% -- but will definitely aid in this coming matchup if they have a PIM edge again.
San Jose Sharks at Los Angeles Kings
10 p.m. ET (TNT) | LA -166, O/U: 6.5
These two squared off on Oct. 3, with the Sharks earning a 5-4 overtime win thanks to the extra-time goal by Igor Chernyshov.
Both of these teams had some level of expectation that they'd make it to the playoffs this season. At some point, they'll need to start stringing together wins to get there. Scoring goals has been an issue for both, as the Kings are 25th in the league (2.77 goals per game) with the Sharks 27th (2.56).
Macklin Celebrini is again atop the Sharks' scoring sheet, with 16 points ahead of a pair at 10. Artemi Panarin leads the way for L.A. with 13 points, ahead of Brandt Clarke's 10.
Calgary Flames at Seattle Kraken
10 p.m. ET (ESPN+) | SEA -166, O/U: 6.5
While some divisional foes have yet to play a single game against one another, the Flames and Kraken are poised to play their fourth and final game on Wednesday.
Seattle won the first two games by 6-1 margins, while the Flames won Game 3 on Oct. 30 by a score of 6-2. So expect six goals for the winning team again?
Dustin Wolf has gotten the nod in goal for the Flames in each of the first three. Does that continue, or will it be the most interesting man in hockey, Devin Cooley, in Calgary's crease?

There are 103 players who have scored 1,000 or more points in their NHL career. But only one player had a fictional donut shop named after them in a '90s comedy film.
That honor belongs to Stan Mikita, the legendary Chicago Blackhawk who approved his name and likeness for the 1992 movie "Wayne's World," and also made a cameo appearance.
And on this day in 1973, the Hockey Hall of Famer scored career point No. 1,000 in a 5-3 loss to the Minnesota North Stars.
Mikita finished his career with 1,467 points, and is the only player in NHL history to win the Hart Trophy (league MVP), Art Ross (scoring leader) and Lady Byng Trophy (gentlemanly play) in the same season, accomplishing it in consecutive seasons (1966-67 and '67-68).
