THE date and kick-off time for Alvechurch’s FA Cup first round tie against Plymouth Argyle has been confirmed.

Church will travel to League One side Plymouth on Saturday, November 7 with kick-off at 3pm at Home Park.

Alvechurch reached the first round of the competition following a stunning 4-0 win against higher-division Spalding United in a replay.

Church needed a replay to overcome National League North side Spalding as Kyle Storer’s produced a late comeback to keep their FA Cup adventure alive.

Alvechurch have also beaten AFC Wolverhampton City, Racing Club Warwick and Cambridge City to reach the first round proper.

Winning clubs in the first round will receive £47,750 while losing clubs will receive £15,800.

However, Church missed out on receiving an additional £50,000 with the club’s trip to Plymouth not selected for broadcast coverage.

Church play four levels below Argyle who play in League One.

Plymouth finished eighth in League One last season and played in the Championship as recently as the 2024/25 campaign.

Former Manchester United and England midfielder Tom Cleverley manages the Pilgrims.

Plymouth currently sit in the League One play-off places.
