The Blues are bidding to get the dismissals of Miguel Azeez and Harvey Bunker overturned.
United, we understand, are in the process of submitting appeals in a bid to avoid both players receiving suspensions.
Carlisle are yet to comment.
But the Blues will be hoping for quick decisions as they prepare for this weekend’s trip to Altrincham.

As things stand midfielders Azeez and Bunker are likely to face three-game bans, unless United’s appeals are successful.

Head coach Rob Elliot confirmed to the News & Star after Wednesday’s 3-0 win that United would be looking closely at the incidents with a view to appealing.
The Blues now face a wait to see whether or not they will be deprived of the midfield duo for forthcoming matches.
Referee Jamie Robinson dismissed Azeez for a challenge in the 14th minute, with Bunker also shown a straight red card for a challenge on the half-hour mark.
The two first-half flashpoints came on a dramatic night as nine-man Carlisle went on to defy the odds to claim a remarkable victory at Brunton Park.
