A glamorous sports host has found herself at the centre of a social media war after sparking NBA's own 'fartgate'. Hannah Cormier is the in-arena host at the Los Angeles Clippers, but sparked a social media frenzy on Thursday (October 29).
Hannah was courtside for her usual duties, but didn't appear to realise she was on camera - leaving her with a terrified look when she saw the cameras were rolling. After taking a second, Hannah said: “Clipper Nation, the ladies are back performing to ‘Gemstone’. Give it up for our Clippers spirit!”
However, in the viral clip, there is then a sound effect which sounded conspicuously like a fart.

“NBA reporter farts, stumbles over her words, walks off," one fan posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, alongside the video that quickly went viral.
And while some fans believed the video, others slammed the fan - pointing out the sound is fake: "Hannah has been the Clippers on-court host for years and done a phenomenal job of it. Pretty bulls*** of you to just add some random noise to this video just to try to get a 'banger'.
"You made up that she was a reporter and made up the noise!" While a second said: "Fakest noise ever, chill on our girl Hannah..."
The Clippers went 1-3 for the season as they were dismantled by local rivals the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Lakers were without their Slovenian superstar Luka Doncic, but still put on quite the display against their local rivals. Collin Sexton came into the team and made a big impact with his scoring in the third quarter.
“Sometimes it’s hard to get his attention because he gets locked in. He’s in the zone. I love it,” Lakers Coach JJ Reddick said of Sexton. “There’s some stuff for spacing that he needs to work on, but I also like when he’s just in ‘go mode.’
"It puts pressure on the defense. Those two threes that he had in the third were huge for us.”
