UFC BJJ 13 happens on THURSDAY (October 29, 2026) inside the UFC’s Meta Apex venue in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will be topped by two title bouts, and will also feature CJI and ADCC champions returning to the promotion.
Mikey Musumeci’s belt will soon have a new owner after the first and only UFC BJJ bantamweight champion has decided to relinquish his title to “prioritize MMA training” and fun jiu-jitsu matches as he ends his “serious” grappling career. Competing for the now vacant belt is Musumeci’s training partner and two-time world champion Jalen Fonacier, with the Filipino-American grappler taking on Kleber Barboza.
That bout will be on the co-main event, with the actual headliner being another vacant title bout featuring Jay Rodriguez and William Tackett, who will receive his second shot at a UFC BJJ belt.
Jay’s more popular brother and CJI champ Nick Rodriguez will also be on the stacked card against recent IBJJF Pan-Am champ Nata Tenca. The stacked card also features reigning and former ADCC champions’ returns, with Jasmine Rocha and Ffion Davies being on separate bouts. CJI vet and champion wrestler Pat Downey also makes his debut on the deep UFC BJJ 13 line up.
The no gi Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) event will stream LIVE on UFC Fight Pass, starting at 8 p.m. ET.
