Running the rule over new changes to Gaelic football rules

Perhaps we could keep the old ways to reduce the confusion

Sir, – There are more rule changes proposed for Gaelic football. On top of that, the old new rules may be revised. Soon we will have new old new rules and new new new rules.

The speed of change is too much. It is as though someone gave backchat to the rules committee and the ball was moved up 50 metres.

For what it’s worth, I believe that the old new rules rule okay and I suggest that the new rules be ruled out. It’s a hard decision. Who would be a ruler? – Yours, etc,

SEAMUS LENNON,

Knocknacarra,

Galway.
