Auckland's small ground has staged an out-and-out entertaining T20 International between the India National Cricket Team and the New Zealand National Cricket Team. After toying with the bowlers in the first innings of the 4th of the 5-T20I series, New Zealand displayed a brilliant relay catch near the boundary rope to dismiss Naman Dhir.

Daryl Mitchell and Nathan Smith combined to pull out a stunning catch. Mitchell grabbed the ball cleanly in the deep, but he had to throw the ball off his hand as his momentum was taking him over the rope. Using his field awareness, Mitchell threw the ball towards his rushing teammate Nathan Smith.

A relay catch accomplished by Daryl Mitchell and Nathan Smith

Nathan Smith was running from the deep mid-wicket area and slowed down his pace a bit as Daryl Mitchell caught the ball precisely. As soon as he saw Mitchell launch the ball in the air again, Smith regained his pace and threw his body to complete the maneuver. A stunning catch by two fantastic fielders. Dangerous Naman Dhir was dismissed cheaply, like most of the other Indian batters in the match.

Ahead of today's match, India was on a winning streak, defeating New Zealand in three consecutive games. The five-match contest was already claimed by the Men in Blue, making the remaining two dead rubbers. But who would have assumed that a dead rubber was going to be a stage for the Kiwis to make a comeback?

A century by Glenn Phillips

The New Zealand cricket team has dominated the match from the begining of the match at the the Eden Park. Batting first, they registered 259 runs in 20 overs for 7 wickets, one of the highest totals ever scored against India in the shortest format of the game.

The innings showcased a masterful batting performance by Glenn Phillips, who single-handedly scored 107 runs off 49 balls with ten 6s and six 4s. He got his perfect companion in the form of Michael Bracewell. With six 6s and four 4s, Bracewell collected 65 runs from 25 balls only.

For India, fast bowler Mayank Yadav bagged three wickets, the most by an Indian bowler today. He took some crucial wickets but at a cost of 48 runs; 12.0 economy rate.

The target was massive, but because of the firepower within the Indian batting order, fans expected a lot more from the match. Ishan Kishan made his comeback in the line-up after missing out on two previous matches because of an injury.

The departure of Naman Dhir was a huge blow for India

As Ishan joined the team, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was dropped from the playing eleven. On the same ground and same pitch where Glenn Phillips and Mitchell Bracewell manhandled the Indian bowling unit, Indian batters failed to deliver.

Naman Dhir, who could have made a fightback, was dismissed after scoring 28 off 13 because of Nathan Smith's catch, combined with Daryl Mitchell.
