Gerry Cardinale was present at Bluenergy Stadium this evening for AC Milan’s game against Udinese, and was intercepted by a journalist just as he left.
Yesterday, it was reported that Cardinale had planned a full week in Italy, keen on showing his support for the team while also dealing with other corporate matters. Sure enough, the American owner was present in the stands tonight.
He got to watch Milan bounce back from what was a tough 3-0 defeat against Bournemouth mid-week, beating Udinese by two goals to nil. His compatriot Christian Pulisic played a big part, while Ruben Amorim got the starting eleven right.
After the game, just as Cardinale was about to jump into the car, he said hello to a journalist (Michael Cuomo) who asked him a few questions before he left…
Are you happy?
“I’m very happy.”
Will you stay in Milan next week?
“Yes, all week.”
For Bologna and Inter?
“Damn right,” he said.

In addition to showing his support to the team, it’s believed that Cardinale will discuss the upcoming mercato, potential changes to the management, and also the new stadium. The design of the latter should be unveiled on Thursday, which is very exciting.
