How former LSU star Angel Reese played in Game 6 of the WNBA Finals

Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream kept the 2026 season alive with a win in Game 6 of the WNBA Finals. The 80-69 victory forces a winner-take-all game against the Golden State Valkyries in San Francisco, with the series tied at three games apiece.

The former LSU women's basketball star recorded a double-double, finishing with 15 points and 14 rebounds, including 12 on the defensive glass. Reese added six assists, one steal and one block. She made two of her eight attempts from beyond the arc.

The Dream dominated from start to finish on Thursday. It led 19-5 six minutes into the game and took a 20-point advantage into halftime. Both sides are in search of their franchise's first WNBA championship.

Reese posted a double-double in each of her first three Finals games, becoming the first player to do so in league history. In the first postseason play of her professional career, raw six-foot-four forward is averaging 16.8 points, 10.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.6 blocks and 1.5 steals per game.
