LaMelo Ball has waxed lyrical about his young Minnesota Timberwolves teammate Joan Beringer after the defeat to the San Antonio Spurs.
All the talk around the Wolves has been about Ball and the incredible partnership he formed with Anthony Edwards before he had to undergo surgery.
But everyone should keep an eye on 19-year-old Beringer too. Ball is definitely doing that and seems to have high hopes for him.

Beringer has played every single game for the Minnesota Timberwolves this season.
Against the San Antonio Spurs, the teenager equalled his season-high return of 12 points, while also recording six rebounds, two assists and a steal.
Of course, Beringer is nowhere near the finished product, but his performances for the Wolves so far have been very impressive.
Ball, who is arguably the biggest name on the roster, has liked what he has seen from the youngster so far and heaped praise on him after the game on Halloween night.
Joan Beringer has committed eight total fouls this season.

That is the fewest fouls by a teenage big man through the first six games of a season since 1976* (when stats like this started being counted).

He said, as per The Athletic’s Jon Krawczynski on X: “Joan’s a monster!
“Joan has definitely got a lot of talent. There are little things I feel like I can help him with, and he can be so much better.
“But Joan’s amazing!”
The Timberwolves clearly have high hopes for Beringer, and that was evident when they exercised their team option to retain him ahead of Cody Williams recently.
Now, with some help from Ball and the other senior players, it’s up to the teen to learn, develop and fulfil his potential.
