Former Dolphins QB signing with NFC North team

The Miami Dolphins made some changes to their quarterback room before the start of the regular season, trading one and releasing two.

Cam Miller was one of the two quarterbacks that Miami released during their roster cuts, and while he remained on the market for the first two months of the season, he's now signing with the Green Bay Packers practice squad, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

Miller, 25, was a two-time FCS national champion at North Dakota State before the Las Vegas Raiders took him in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. After spending most of his rookie season on their practice squad, Miami signed him to their 53-man roster in January and kept him around for the offseason.

In three preseason games with the Dolphins this year, Miller completed just 42.1% of his passes for 170 yards and two interceptions.

Now, he joins a quarterback room that features Jordan Love, Tyrod Taylor and Kedon Slovis.
