Enzo Amore could potentially make his way back to WWE. A new report provided an update on his status and the possibility of reuniting with Big Cass. The former tag team partners have been linked to a potential comeback since earlier this year, but only one has returned to the company so far.

Big Cass made his WWE comeback in August 2026 after spending several years away from the promotion. He has since been featured as a singles competitor on Monday Night RAW. Big Cass has engaged in a feud with Je’Von Evans and faced several other stars.

Amore, meanwhile, has remained away from WWE television since his departure in 2018. He was spotted at the WWE Performance Center in May. This fueled speculation about a possible return and renewed interest in seeing him reunite with his former tag team partner.

The duo became immensely popular during their initial WWE run, with their partnership ending in 2017 after Cass turned heel against Amore. Although reports earlier this year suggested WWE was interested in bringing them back, questions have remained about whether the company still intends to reunite them.

Enzo Amore’s reported WWE talks spark fresh Big Cass reunion speculation

According to a new report from Fightful Select, Amore held talks with WWE at some point in 2026. The former Cruiserweight Champion remains interested in returning to the company. However, Amore has not signed a contract, and there is no confirmed plan involving a reunion with Cass.

The report also noted that bringing Cass back first and introducing Amore later would be an unusual approach, suggesting that the opposite order would have made more sense.

The latest update follows earlier reports about WWE’s initial plans for the former tag team partners. F4WOnline’s Dave Meltzer previously reported that the company had discussed bringing Amore back through NXT while keeping him separate from Cass on the main roster.

Meltzer explained that WWE initially believed pairing the two together could limit Cass’ potential as a singles competitor. However, he also suggested that a reunion might make more sense given Cass’ position following his return.
