Adrien Broner, the troubled former boxing champion once seen as the future of the sport, had another run-in with police over the weekend in Beverly Hills.

Now more than two years removed from his last fight, the 37-year-old Broner was among a group of men recording content on the streets of Beverly Hills for the social media platform, Kick, when local police arrived.

Viral footage from the incident shows the group recording what appears to be a music video involving both Broner and his fellow content creator, Deen The Great.

A separate clip shows Broner with his arms raised and walking backwards towards a pair of officers, who ultimately placed him in handcuffs. Broner is seen trying to poke fun at the situation by doing a funny walk for the officers' benefit, but they did not seem amused.

'Broner was detained during a traffic stop as part of an investigation into a large street gathering in a residential area,' Beverly Hills police told TMZ in a statement. 'He was released from the scene and a citation was not issued.'

The Daily Mail has sought further information from Beverly Hills police.

Broner is currently among several defendants being sued in Los Angeles County over allegations of sexual battery, battery and assault.

'Plaintiff alleges that Broner repeatedly pressured Plaintiff for sexual activity after repeated refusals, attempted to isolate Plaintiff, repeatedly pressured Plaintiff while intoxicated, attempted unwanted physical contact, publicly humiliated Plaintiff, and made false sexual statements about Plaintiff to a livestream audience,' read the complaint, obtained by The Daily Mail.

Broner has denied any wrongdoing in the case.

Previously, in September of 2025, Broner was kicked off rapper Cam'ron's popular podcast after ignoring the host's warnings to stop flirting with his on-air co-host.

Sporting a greying beard and speaking in an increasingly raspy voice, Broner repeatedly interrupted the interview to make passes at Treasure 'Stat Baby' Wilson, who co-hosts It Is What It Is with Cam'ron and Ma$e.

At one point, Broner responded to a question about boxing's welterweight division by telling Wilson: 'Stat, I love you.'

Things ultimately boiled over during a discussion about Sunday's NFL action when Broner appeared to stop himself from making another comment about Wilson: 'I can't talk… You told me to stop.'

Cam'ron took the moment to end his interview with Broner.

'Hey, we going to have to ask you to go, my n*****,' Cam'ron said before pulling a stack of cash out of a small bag to give to his guest.

'I don't have no problems with you, but I'm gonna pay you for your time,' the rapper said, adding: 'You can't violate, bro.' Cam'ron went on to explain that Wilson's boyfriend was on set.

A native of Cincinnati who won the WBO Super Featherweight title at just 22 in 2011, Broner enjoyed a meteoric rise in the boxing world before his career was derailed by a series of arrests, upset defeats and mental health issues.
