The Chicago Bears have been playing their brand of football against the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football. They went into halftime with a 13-9 lead and extended their lead with a one-yard touchdown from running back D’Andre Swift. Their lead is now 20-9.
Here is a look at Swift’s touchdown, courtesy of the NFL’s official social media:
His touchdown capped off a 10-play, 69-yard drive for the Bears that lasted over six minutes. It was Chicago’s second drive of the game that was over six minutes; both of them resulted in touchdowns.
Chicago’s defense has also been playing well for the most part. Through three quarters, the Bears have sacked Seattle quarterback Sam Darnold three times and recorded five tackles for loss. One of those sacks and two tackles for loss are from Jeffery Simmons, who is making his debut for the Bears after his blockbuster trade from the Tennessee Titans.
