Kelani Jordan is still NXT Women's Champion after an underhanded victory over Wren Sinclair at "WWE NXT" Halloween Havoc on Saturday, a win where she used the bottom rope as leverage to get the pin.

Sinclair, who didn't have former champion and best friend Kendal Grey at ringside, started off the match hot, but was downed by a hurricanrana and dropkick by the champion. Jordan hit a cross body out of the corner, followed by a northern lights suplex, and bridged into a pin, but couldn't keep Sinclair down.

The challenger rallied and threw Jordan into the corner with a double underhook suplex before hitting her with a high cross body. Jordan missed the split-legged moonsault, but came down over the ropes right on Sinclair's shoulder, which she continued to work over. After they traded pinfalls back-and-forth, the women laid one another out in the middle of the ring.

Jordan hit a shoulder breaker, followed by a frog splash. Sinclair was still able to attempt the Final Wrench, but couldn't fully lock her hands. It wasn't enough, and Jordan powered through and dumped Sinclair out of the ring.

The champion hit Sinclair's injured shoulder off some exposed steel in the corner and went for a 450 splash, but Sinclair kicked out. Sinclair got her feet up to avoid Jordan's moonsault. She locked the Final Wrench in fully, and the pair countered one another, rolling around the ring, before Jordan was able to get back up.

Jordan hit Sinclair's face off the top turnbuckle pad while trying to break the hold. She was able to get Sinclair to the canvas for a pin, and used a single foot on the bottom rope for leverage to get the win.
