AC Milan have announced that a new set of players will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in the near future, with voting now open.
On Saturday, it was Ricardo Kaka’s turn to gain his flowers for his Milan days. The Brazilian was given the award before the Derby della Madonnina, in an emotional ceremony which he ended in front of the Curva.
He’s not the first inductee and he won’t be the last, with several of the Rossoneri’s legends not yet part of the members.
Now, a new set of inductees will be welcomed, with Milan officially announcing the opening of a new vote. Indeed, fans will now have the opportunity to vote for the ‘three greatest defenders’ in the club’s history.
With 30 candidates named, there is no shortage of choice and Paolo Maldini’s place within the vote will be welcomed. Of course, he’s not alone, though, with several other notable names joining him, as can be seen below.
