When is the Carabao Cup draw? Start time, ball numbers, TV channel and live stream for quarter-finals

With the Carabao Cup fourth round taking place this week, fans will be hoping that their side will advance to the next round and get on step closer to Wembley.

The quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup, sometimes called the fifth round, will take place in December, but who is still in the competition?

There are six all-Premier League ties, but the first two games of round four of the EFL Cup feature sides from outside of England’s top tiers.

League One duo Bradford City and Peterborough United are in action on Tuesday, October 27, guaranteeing that there will be one third-tier outfit in the draw for the quarter finals.

On the same day, Premier League champions Arsenal travel to Highbury Stadium to face League Two Fleetwood Town - the lowest ranked team still in the competition. Both games kick off at 7.45pm.

Wednesday night sees Manchester City face a stern test in Brighton & Hove Albion - the Seagulls knocking out City’s arch-rivals, Manchester United, in the previous round.

There are five fixtures in total on Wednesday night, with the City-Brighton fixture kicking off first at 7.30pm. The latest kick-off sees Liverpool host Chelsea at 8pm in what is arguably the pick of the bunch.

Elsewhere on Wednesday south Londoners Fulham and Crystal Palace meet at Craven Cottage, while their neighbours Brentford travel north to face Sunderland. Those fixtures, and the clash between Europa League Bournemouth take on Champions League Aston Villa at Vitality Stadium, all kick-off at 7.45pm.

Finally, the fourth round action ends with Everton welcoming Newcastle United to Merseyside on Thursday, with kick-off at 7.45pm.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Carabao Cup draw for the fifth round.
