Fans have been voicing their opinion about Jack Grealish, with many feeling let down by his actions.
Plenty feel that this is the last thing Everton needed given the size of the squad right now, and some have even been talking about cutting Grealish’s loan spell short in January.
What happens with him now is going to be interesting for sure.
But quite possibly, it does at least open the door more for Tyrique George to really land at Everton.

How should David Moyes handle Jack Grealish after his breach of club discipline? Is his time at Everton up? 😬 Let us know what you would do below! 👇
All of a sudden, there is some doubt about Grealish’s future at Everton.
The club have paid a fortune to bring him back on loan, after they had done the same for his first. Supposedly, Everton are also paying the bulk of Grealish’s wages.
It is not unreasonable to suggest now that his time as a regular starter, at least, is over. It is very possible that Moyes will not want to ‘reward’ him by handing him starts.
And if Grealish is no longer starting, then that surely opens the door for Tyrique George, a player who made a bright start this season but saw his minutes decrease once Grealish had boosted his fitness. And there was confusion recently when Moyes started Rohl over George against Arsenal, suggesting he has slipped down the pecking order.
If Grealish’s role is to reduce in light of his misdemeanours, then George has got to be the first port of call for that left wing role. It is the position he favours, and it’s the position where he can cause a lot of damage.
Yes, his only goal of the season came from the right side against Manchester United. But George loves to cut inside from the left. And his shooting ability and power make him a great threat.

Arguably, even if Grealish had not been disciplined by the club, there was an argument for Moyes starting George on that left side. Grealish has yet to make a single goal contribution for Everton and has been nowhere near the level we know he can get to.
The whole episode is so disappointing, given how Everton have given Grealish a chance to get back on track after he fell by the wayside at Manchester City.
But the potential for George to now explode is certainly exciting, and Moyes simply has to feed into it. Grealish can perhaps still be of use, but to keep him as a regular starter after what has happened doesn’t feel appropriate, especially with such an exciting young talent waiting in the wings.
