Russell Wilson will return to Empower Field at Mile High on Sunday.

In addition to having their No. 1 broadcast crew of Jim Nantz, J.J. Watt and Tracy Wolfson call the Denver Broncos' game against the Kansas City Chiefs, CBS is also featuring pre-game coverage at Denver's stadium.

The NFL Today show is going on the road in Week 8, visiting Empower Field at Mile High ahead of Sunday's AFC West showdown. NFL quarterback Russell Wilson is part of the program and will be in attendance for the CBS show.

Wilson will also be featured on The NFL Today+ digital show (8:00 a.m. MT) ahead of the primary CBS broadcast of The NFL Today (10:00 a.m. MT).

Wilson, of course, played in Denver from 2022-2023. He went 11-19 as a starter with the Broncos before being benched in 2023 by coach Sean Payton and then cut during the 2024 offseason. Payton replaced Wilson by using a first-round draft pick to select quarterback Bo Nix in 2024.

Sunday's game will have big implications in the AFC West as the winner will hold first place in the division. Before the games begin on Sunday, CBS programming will air live from Empower Field.
