According to TEAMtalk, Zion Suzuki’s impressive displays at Aston Villa have attracted interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
Suzuki has quickly established himself as one of the most highly rated young goalkeepers in the Premier League following his summer arrival at Villa Park. The Japan international has impressed Villa boss Unai Emery with his ability to operate as a sweeper-keeper and his exceptional distribution.
PSG considered a move for the 24-year-old during the summer and are understood to have maintained their interest after monitoring his performances in England. Real Madrid are also said to be keeping a close watch on Suzuki as they plan for the long-term future of their goalkeeping department, despite preparing a new contract for 34-year-old Thibaut Courtois.
Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are all reportedly monitoring the Villa ‘keeper as they assess future options between the posts.
Despite the growing attention, Villa are described as relaxed about the situation. The club signed Suzuki for around £30 million on a five-year contract and view him as a key part of their future.
