Hodnet and Peplow’s Chris Gask led the local honours after being named Player of the Division in Division Five as well as taking his place in the divisional XI.

Calverhall were also represented, with Chris Rowe selected in the Division Six Team of the Year following his season with the club’s 1st XI.

Wem’s Bobby Langton earned a place in the Sunday Division Two side after representing Wem 3rd XI.

Whitchurch provided the biggest contingent from a single local club, with three players chosen in the Sunday Division Three Team of the Year.

Ankush Sehgal, Mark Portas and Gabriel Challenor were all selected after playing for Whitchurch 3rd XI.

The selections mean Whitchurch have three representatives among the league’s end-of-season divisional teams, while Hodnet and Peplow, Wem and Calverhall have one apiece.

Gask’s inclusion came with the additional distinction of being named Division Five Player of the Division.
