The North Carolina Tar Heels have the chance to shock the nation on Saturday night. And things could get spooky in Chapel Hill.
North Carolina welcomes in No. 1 Miami on Halloween night for a showdown at Kenan Memorial Stadium. After the Tar Heels lost a heartbreaker last week to Syracuse, the test doesn't get much easier as Miami comes to town for the primetime showdown. The Tar Heels could have hosted College GameDay but the loss to the Orange took them out of the running for it.
For Miami, they head into Chapel Hill with the best offense in football led by quarterback Darian Mensah and wide receiver Malachi Toney. It will be a HUGE test for North Carolina overall and if they want to pull off the upset, they are going to need to play well in all areas of the game.
Turnovers. The Tar Heels are going to not only need to win the turnover battle but they need to score points off of the turnovers. That's going to be a huge key to victory. With Miami's offense being so good, UNC is going to have to steal some possessions and take advantage of it with points.
Will Miami have a look-ahead situation? This is going to be a tough game for both teams but for Miami, their biggest game of the season will be next week against Notre Dame. Miami is going to have to be focused on this one first and foremost but you will know early potentially if they are "looking ahead" or not.
