Browns officially waive rookie tight end again

BEREA, Ohio (WKBN) - The Cleveland Browns officially waived rookie tight end Carsen Ryan on Thursday afternoon.

No corresponding roster move was announced by the team.

Ryan was released by Cleveland last week but quickly re-signed to the practice squad after clearing waivers.

He was selected by Cleveland in the seventh round of the 2026 NFL Draft out of BYU, and has appeared in seven games this season with Cleveland.

The Browns, who are 5-3 overall on the season, visit the New Orleans Saints on Sunday at 1 p.m. on WKBN-27.
