New Hull KR head coach Nathan Cayless

Hull KR are working to add a fourth player to their squad ahead of the new Super League season.

The Robins have already wrapped up three new arrivals as they prepare for life under Nathan Cayless with Moala Graham-Taufa, Salesi Ataata and Eddie Hampson all joining Rovers' ranks from the reserve grades down under.

Cayless has extensive knowledge of the New South Wales and Queensland Cups having worked across the competitions down under and he's confident that all three men will add plenty to the squad he has inherited.

However, ahead of pre-season getting started next week, Rovers are in negotiations with another potential signing, with Cayless revealing as much in his first interview with the press since arriving in England.

The head coach didn't elaborate on who or what KR were looking to bring in, but it seems the club are open to exploring recruitment opportunities going forward if and when they arise.

"We're potentially working on one but that's still in the works," Cayless said while speaking to the media in a Craven Park suite. "As a coach and as a club you're always looking to upgrade different things. You're always keeping an eye on different players and opportunities.

"Paul Lakin and I and the rest of the coaching staff will have conversations daily about players and opportunities because in this position you can't discount anything.

"The landscape changes regularly, we just need to make sure we're doing the best for the club and if that means we need to sign someone because it's going to improve the team and the club then we'll seriously look at this from day one."
