Non-league clubs Altrincham and Cray Wanderers will stage the BBC's two chosen FA Cup first-round ties next month.

National League club Alty host former winners Notts County at Moss Lane on Saturday, 7 November (17:15 GMT, BBC Two/iPlayer).

Bromley-based Cray, from the seventh-tier Isthmian League, and making their first appearance at this stage of the competition, will host League One leaders Stockport County the following day (Sunday, 8 November 14:15 GMT, BBC 2/iPlayer).

They reached this stage by beating Bedford Town on penalties in Tuesday's replay after a 2-2 draw.

Cray are recognised as London's oldest football club, pre-dating the FA Cup itself, which was first played in 1872.

Altrincham hold the giant-killing record for a team never to have played in the Football League, having previously enjoyed 17 wins over league clubs.

Notts were Football League founder members in 1888 before winning the Cup six years later in 1894 - but they went out at the same stage last year on penalties to Brackley.

Jason Mohammad will present Saturday's coverage, with Alex Scott hosting from Cray on the Sunday.

A comprehensive highlights programme will cover the weekend's action (Sunday, 8 November 17:10 GMT BBC 2/iPlayer).

All of the first round goals will be available to view across BBC digital platforms including the BBC Sport website and app.

The second round draw will precede the Plymouth Parkway v Berkhamsted Town tie on Monday, 9 November.

The other six televised cup ties are all on TNT/HBO Max.

Friday, 6 Nov: Oxford City v Leicester City (19:45 GMT)

Saturday, 7 Nov: Peterborough United v Reading (20:00 GMT)

Sunday, 8 Nov: Stafford Rangers v Grimsby Town (12:00 GMT), Wimborne Town v Crawley Town (15:00 GMT), Oldham Athletic v Sheffield Wednesday (17.15 GMT)
