Bills' Joe Brady shares WR DJ Moore injury update

Bills' quarterback Josh Allen and new wide receiver DJ Moore's connection was back in action in Sunday's 36-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Allen went 8-19 and 112 yards passing in the air with an interception and two touchdowns, and rushed for a touchdown as well. One of the scoring throws went to Moore, to give Allen the franchise mark for passing TDs.

He also found Moore on a big 40+ contested catch to put the Bills in scoring range.

It was Moore's first game back after missing time for nearly a month due to a shoulder injury from an NFL week 4 matchup against the New England Patriots. He had four receptions for 82 yards and the touchdown in the win.

When asked what it meant to him to be back out there, he was quick to respond. "Everything!"

"Meant everything. I got the jitters when I first stepped on the field and then I got the jitters out even more when I fumbled and I was like, 'All right, now it's time to really lock back in and get going,'" the WR1 shared. "So, I was nervous at first and then went out there and just was like, 'All right, this is the game that I love and was good.'"

Head coach Joe Brady spoke to the impact that Moore's return had as well as his importance to the Buffalo offense.

"You can see what he does to our offense. He made some big plays for us, and you know it's going. It's obviously was great to get him back.", Brady said postgame.

There was a scare that has brought Brady's decision to keep Moore in the game late after the Bills had a commanding lead. The receiver came down at an awkward angle landing off balance on his knee in the game, and taking a hit to the lower body while making a catch during a fourth-quarter drive.

He limped off the field after that play, and went to the medical tent to get checked out, before returning. Though he again showed a limp leaving the field after the game, he says he is okay.

When asked about what the injury was, Moore said "Hyper extension. Yeah, we'd be good though."

He also reassured that his body was in playing condition and in step with where it needed to feel in returning to game play.

"You play a lot of games in this league. You're nervous because of coming back from the injury or just cuz you haven't been out there," he added. "It's more because of the injury and not being out there. So, l'm like, 'Dang, am I in game shape?' And today I found out I was."
