The Jurassic Amateur Boxing Club (JAB) returns to Freshwater Beach Holiday Park, Burton Bradstock, on Saturday November 14, 2026.

Now in its second year, JAB has grown out of the former Bridport Boxing Club, taking over the reins of the long-running and popular amateur boxing event at Freshwater.

JAB is a thriving, driven and inclusive club, bringing together a dedicated group of boxers and coaches who share a passion for the sport.

With a strong emphasis on quality coaching, discipline, fitness and competitive development, the club continues to go from strength to strength, providing opportunities for local boxers to train, develop their skills and compete.

This year's show promises another action-packed evening, with approximately 15 bouts featuring amateur boxers stepping into the ring to showcase their skills, determination and hard work.

Alongside the boxing, there will be a licensed bar and a fantastic prize raffle, with prizes generously donated by local businesses and supporters.

The annual show is a highlight of the club's calendar and an important opportunity to raise funds to support its continued development.

Grassroots clubs like JAB play a vital role in amateur boxing, nurturing local talent and providing a pathway for boxers to progress in the sport.

JAB Coach Paul Randall said: "We're incredibly proud of what we're building at JAB.

"We've got a fantastic group of committed boxers and coaches who put in a huge amount of time and effort, both in training and in competition.

"We're ambitious for the club and for our boxers, and we're always keen to welcome new people who want to get involved in the sport.

"Our annual show is a real highlight for us.

"It's a chance for our boxers to put all their hard work into practice and for the local community to enjoy a fantastic night of competitive amateur boxing.

We'd love to see as many people there as possible, cheering everyone on and supporting the club."

The weigh-in takes place between 5–6.30pm

Doors open at 6pm and the boxing starts at 7pm.

Tickets are £20 or tables of 10 from £200.
