Martin Boyle available for Premier Sports Cup semi-final

At last there is some good news for Hibs fans ahead of tomorrow’s Premier Sports Cup semi-final against rivals Hearts at Barclays Hampden.

Experienced front man Martin Boyle who missed the last two games due to illness is back fit and ready to go.

Miquel Chaiwa, who picked up a knock in Wednesday’s draw with St Mirren in Paisley is also available.

A decision on whether Callum Wright is fit for a place on the bench will be taken today.

The game has come too early for Nathan Lowe and Jacob Devaney whilst long term injury victims Rocky Bushiri and Jordan Obita remain on the sidelines.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference on Friday, manager Marink Reedijk said: “I think the squad is still much the same. Boyle is back, though, and he is feeling better.

“We’re also looking at whether Callum Wright can make the bench, but we’ll make that decision on Saturday. Miguel (Chaiwa) is fine after his knock in midweek.”
