Felix Nmecha has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, with several English clubs reportedly keeping an eye on the Borussia Dortmund midfielder.

According to Sky Germany, Liverpool have recently made contact with the 25-year-old’s representatives.

However, the report also claims that the Reds are not currently planning a concrete move for the midfielder, meaning Dortmund have no immediate reason to worry.

Liverpool are understood to have other names higher up their list of central midfield targets, with their preferred options understood to include AS Monaco’s Lamine Camara and Bournemouth’s Alex Scott.

Nmecha is under contract with Dortmund until 2030, but reportedly has an €80 million release clause that will be active this summer until the end of June.
