Anfield always ranks among the most sought-after away trips on the Premier League calendar for Tottenham Hotspur fans. Before applying for the 3,058 visiting spots on Merseyside, supporters need to note a stricter age rule and two tier pricing structure.
Over 3,000 travelling fans will pack into the Anfield away end when Tottenham head to Merseyside. This week, season ticket holders can apply for the 3,058 ticket allocation until 10 am on 9 November. If demand exceeds that figure, the Ticketing Points Scheme will determine the ballot winners. Club staff will then process payments on 11 November.
Unlike newer grounds, the Anfield allocation includes 54 restricted view seats. Standard passes cost £30 for adults aged 25 to 65, £22.50 for seniors over 65 and £15 for young adults aged 17 to 24. Restricted view spots cut £1 off those three bands, while juniors aged two to 16 pay £9. Twelve wheelchair and 12 ambulant bays also include free assistant passes.
Younger fans face a higher age threshold on Merseyside than at many other stadiums. Anyone under 17 must enter Anfield with an adult aged 18 or over, and children under two cannot enter at all. If an applicant under 17 succeeds without an adult, the club will cancel that booking. Meanwhile, fans whose card payment fails on 11 November will receive an email with payment details.
Safe standing makes up the bulk of the visiting section inside Anfield. Once the deadline passes, Tottenham will email winners about requesting seats if they cannot stand all matches. During match week, each successful season ticket holder gets a digital link for Apple, Google, or Samsung Wallet. Fans earn two Ticketing Points only after Liverpool confirms a turnstile scan.
Because of that scan rule, officials urged fans to apply only if they will make the trip. Selling or passing on a ticket at or below face value brings a written warning and halves ticketing points. Worse, selling above face value carries an indefinite ban and wipes out all points. Random spot checks may also require chosen fans to collect passes in person at Anfield.
